What decade in the 20th century would you say was ideal?

The 1970's I think great time to be a kid.Shows like Soul Train great funk/soul music and groups.Also what was the WORST decade in the 20th century cause hopefully the 2010's will bring back good music cause this young money music is not music period but I wish that I could have grown up in the 1970's so bad cause my parents always played 70's and 80's jams.
