Drinking very expired Bailey's?

My parents have a bottle of Bailey's at their house, of which the expiration date is sometime from 2004. I've heard you really shouldn't drink Bailey's too long after the date, and obviously this stuff's super old, but apparently my parents still drink from that bottle. I checked it, and it smells like Bailey's normally does, and it's not curdled. Would it be safe to drink this stuff?
