Can someone help me please?

In January I was diagnosed with the swine flu and got ADEM. ADEM stands for Acute Dissemilated Encephalomyelitis. basically, it paralyzed me. The doctor says Ill be able to walk again and I've gotten alot of movement back. but Im still in a wheelchair and this has definitely put my life on hold. I get to sit around and watch my friends live their lives, go dancing, get boyfriends, and Im just on the sidelines. I can't go outside cuz the lesions affected my brain to where I can't regulate my body temp. so how do I get out of this funk and be happy?
