Can the terrible two's start early?

my 15 month old son has started whining and screaming a blood curdling scream EVERY time he doesnt get what he wants. he's really not spoiled, and he has 16 teeth already. he doesnt want to be touched by anyone but me. he freaks when daddy picks him up. he's just stopped being happy it seems.
